Several churches in the CSRA are planning a local supplies and blood drive in the coming weeks. Currently, all of the relief organizations are only accepting monetary donations, due to the difficulty of shipping supplies and getting them to the Haitian people who have been devastated by the Earthquake. Until you can participate locally through material donation or through the giving of blood, here is a list of recommended organizations to donate through. All organizations on this list are legitimate and already have operations in Haiti with ongoing support to the local people. It doesn’t matter who you partner with, just do something:
